Last night we DJ’d Ryan High Prom. It went really well even if the students kept asking for songs that I wasn’t allowed to play. Teens can be the most fun to DJ for because they really get into the music, but with school and parental limitations on what we can play, well, that can be a hard line to balance.

Last night’s most requested song was Pimp by Yung Nation and I didn’t have a radio edit of that song ...

Recently we were asked to play the “WOP” at a high school dance. This dance is still fairly new and we are surprised by how many people don’t know this one or the Wobble, but they are finally starting to permeate our dance floors much to our delight. For two seasons I had the privilege of being a Mavs ManiAAC. It was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done.
